New Slooh Coming with Winter’s Last Waxing Crescent Moon

We’re on the home leg of our year-long development process to totally redesign and rewrite every aspect of Slooh. There is still much to do, and this may be subject to change, but the new Slooh is currently scheduled for launch as the Moon reaches its last waxing crescent of the winter season.

The new website will feature a host of changes to the current design and functionality. Check out a preview below.

We’re also adding brand new telescopes for our members to control. We’ve already seen the new Slooh Solar Telescope in operation – and that will be fully incorporated into the new telescope pages on the website. Additionally, we’re adding a third and fourth telescope at our flagship observatory site at the Institute of Astrophysics of the Canary Islands.

We’re also in the process of upgrading our telescope equipment at our Chile observatory.
