Slooh is heading to Washington, D.C. as part of White House Astronomy Night on Monday, October 19th! The annual event brings together scientists, engineers, and visionaries from astronomy and the space industry to share their experiences with students and teachers as they spend an evening stargazing from the South Lawn of the White House.

Slooh will be joining in the festivities as an official Astronomy Night event, featuring unique views of the universe from our global network of feed partners. We’ve invited a panel of students from the Washington Montessori School in Washington, CT. These students will share with us, and with our esteemed guests, the deep space objects they enjoy most, and will offer some fascinating insights into these objects.

Viewers will also get a sneak peek at our new educational product, Slooh Classroom, and we’ll sit down with the executive director of Girlstart to find out what keeps girls from pursuing STEM, and who will offer some advice to parents interested in keeping their kids excited about science outside the classroom.

Join us on October 19, 2015 for this special live show to celebrate astronomy, science, students, and family.
