NASA astronaut Scott Kelly is nearing the halfway point of his year-long mission on the International Space Station, and Slooh will hold a special show on September 15, 2015 to mark this space milestone.During the show, Slooh hosts will be joined by NASA experts on manned spaceflight who will discuss the future of space exploration, the motivation behind Scott Kelly’s mission, and what we still need to learn before we can send astronauts on long space flights to Mars and beyond. We’ll also be speaking with Cady Coleman, an astronaut experienced with long-term space flight, having logged over 180 days in orbit.

During the show we will have the first ever live broadcast of the ISS as it passes overhead, and NASA will provide a live video feed from ISS looking down on Earth. Join us on September 15, 2015 for this special show to celebrate mankind’s endurance, and the continued exploration of the universe and our place in it.
